Randall Butisingh celebrates his 98 th birthday on December 1, 2010.
For the last few months he has not been blogging as he wanted time for other interests and to rest his eyes as well. However, he has been reading his e-mails, but has been unable to answer all of them.
Recently, he has not been very well, but is feeling much better now.

You can’t find a more gentle loving soul
We should all adopt his unique mould
He lived his life in harmony and peace
His love of life showed through his neice
He is a man of the century a true Guyanese
A breath of fresh air like our cool sea breeze
The government and folks should not let this be
For his knowledge and sanity is like our Gandhi
Build a statue to remember him when he is gone
Sadly I wonder who will carry on with his baton

Once I wrote to him and he remembered my grandfather Bindraban Maraj! what a remarkable man. He told me things I never knew.
