Thakur, I believe it was a custom that obtained in India, because I read it where a Rani tied it in the wrist of a rival Raja and bound him to protect her. Th immigrants brought the custom here.

Indeed, we are all on a journey through life. It’s the hope for all travelers like us that at the end of our present travels we will have found some answers, made someone a little happy, and be prepared for the next phase in Almighty God’s plan.

This picture is not real. It is Photoshopped and done … Very poorly.

At that Angular Distance from the Sun, the Moon simply would not be visible. and even worse, the Sun and Moon share almost the same exact angular diameter when viewed from Earth, meaning that they are almost exactly the same apparent size. The Moon does not appear thousands of times larger than the Sun from the Earths surface. Ever.
Also, there is Ice at the North pole.

Sekhet Ra, Kaieteurnews is intrigued by the story of your grandfather and would like to publish it in their newspapers. They are asking for photographs to go with it. Have you any that you can send? Or can you get any? I am sure the Diocese of Guyana will also like to publish the story in its magazine.

Your father and your aunt Dolly were my favourites. Pat and I used to romp on the sea beach at Buxton and I used to teach your aunt Dolly to swim, though she seems not to remember that now. Pat resembled his mother; he was very fair, tall and well built. On the whole, I had a very good relatioonship with all the Burgans. I would like to continue that relationship with their offsprings.
