THOUGHT FOR TODAY:

FRIENDSHIP

“Those will be thy best friends, not to whom thou hast done good, but who have done good to thee.”
Tacitus

“Associate yourself with men of good quality if you esteem your own reputation; for ’tis better to be alone than in bad company.”
George Washington

“Friendship, like the immortality of the soul, is too good to be believed. When friendships are real, they are not glass threads or frost work, but the solidest things we know.”

Ralph Waldo Emerson

“No human relation gives one possession in another…every two souls are absolutely different. In friendship and in love, the two side by side raise hands together to find what one cannot reach alone.”
Kahlil Gibran

“Ultimately the bond of all companionship, whether in marriage or in friendship, is conversation.”
– Oscar Wilde

“Friendship with oneself is all-important because without it one cannot be friends with anyone else in the world.”
Eleanor Roosevelt

1 Response to "FRIENDSHIP"

More action, less talk.
With good friendship there will be no need to illegally invade and atrociously occupy any nation while persecutors in Tibet, Zimbabwe, and Myanmar are allowed to spread their terror and destruction.
It must also be extended to protect the rights and values of a global family, and should never be a convenience for certain individuals in powerful offices.
