SOME THERE ARE that torment themselves afresh with the memory of what is past; others again afflict themselves with the apprehension of evils to come, and very ridiculously both - for the one does not now concern us, and the other not yet…One should count each day a separate life.

UNNATURAL MAN
Man has created an unnatural environment, with artificial patterns of living which has created systemic problems as man is further removed from the “Natural World”.
“The war against the earth – against nature and humanity – being carried on both by those in power who have been transformed into alien agents and by their innocent dupes and victims among the world’s peoples. Events whish are in themselves normal and life-giving – the breaking of lands to the plow, the building of cities, the work of scientists and technicians, even the birth of children – assume a sinister cast when viewed in the perspective of a new realism about the limits of the earth and needs of humanity.”

SUNSET AT THE NORTH POLE
A scene you will probably never get to see.
This is the sunset at the North Pole with the moon at its closest point. You also see the sun below the moon. An amazing photo and not one easily duplicated. You may want to pass it on to others.

Without Love, good works are worthless, but with Love they become wholly rewarding no matter how small and insignificant they may seem. God puts more importance on the reason you work rather than on how much work you actually do. A person does much who loves much; He does much who does it well; He does well who serves the common good rather than himself.
St Thomas a Kempis

MY FRIENDS
My friends are little lamps to me’
There radiance warms and cheers my way;
And all my pathway, dark and lone.
Is lightened by their rays.
I try to keep them bright by faith,
And never let them dim with doubt;
For every time I lose a friend,
A little lamp goes out.

EDUCATIONAL PYRAMIDING
Every profession seems to include practitioners who delight in making the simple complex, like the teacher who told her fourth form class: “Here is the way to remember how to spell ‘geography.’… George eats old gray rats and paints houses yellow.”

The GREAT PYRAMIDS
Does the Great Pyramids of Egypt enshrine a lost science? Was this last remaining of the Seven Wonders of the World …. Designed by mysterious architects who had a deep knowledge of the secrets of this universe than those who followed them?

TOOLS
Man transforms everything he encounters into a tool, and in doing so he himself becomes a tool. But if he asks: “a tool for what”? — There is no answer.
